With more than 15 years of experience in real estate, Lauren Hodgson brings a wealth of property management knowledge, practical expertise and genuine care to her role as Property Management Business Development Manager at BigginScott Central Victoria.

Lauren specialises in helping property investors navigate the process of leasing and managing their investment with confidence. From preparing a property for the rental market and securing the right renter through to legislative compliance, risk management and long-term strategy, Lauren provides clear, straightforward advice tailored to each client and their property.

With extensive experience in Victorian rental legislation, VCAT matters, compliance and dispute resolution, Lauren understands how important it is for rental providers to have someone knowledgeable and dependable in their corner. She has a talent for making complex legislation easy to understand and takes pride in ensuring her clients feel informed, supported and protected.

Having spent many years working within the Ballarat property market, Lauren has developed strong relationships with local rental providers and a thorough understanding of the region. Her approach is personal rather than transactional – taking the time to understand what each investor wants to achieve and providing the level of service and communication she would expect for her own property.

A lifelong Ballarat local, Lauren now lives on 10 acres in Smythesdale with her husband and two dogs. Away from real estate, she is an active soccer player and goalkeeper for the Sebastopol Vikings, where she also volunteers and supports the club with its social media.

For Lauren, great property management starts with good advice, genuine relationships and treating every investment as if it matters – because it does.
